JunHo You

South Korea, Tenor, *1980

JunHo began his studies at Chung-Ang University in his hometown of Seoul, graduating in 2008 with a bachelor of music degree. He then moved to Munich to study with Prof. Josef Loibl at the University of Music and Performing Arts. In 2008, JunHo sang the role of Ali in Die Pilger von Mekka at Munich’s Prinzregententheater. That same year, he appeared as Ferrando in Mozart’s Così fan tutte. Performances as Rodolfo in La Bohème and Don José in Carmen followed in 2009. In 2010, JunHo will take over the role of Malcolm in Macbeth with the Munich Radio Orchestra, directed by Friedrich Haider, and he will perform as Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor at the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck.
