Peter Nelson

Peter Nelson began his musical career at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz. Since then, he has won widespread acclaim as an accompanist of several singers of renown, including Kurt Moll, Gabriele Schnaut, Maria Venuti and Eteri Gvazava, winner of the 1997 International Singing Contest NEUE STIMMEN. In addition to master classes, Peter Nelson's efforts to promote young talent also include his involvement in singing competitions such as the ARD-Musikwettbewerb, the "Concours Reine Elisabeth" and NEUE STIMMEN since 1991.

Peter Nelson has been teaching at the College of Music in Karlsruhe from 1985 to 2004 and he now is Professor at the College of Music in Trossingen.
