Pavel Kolgatin

Russia, Tenor, *1987

After graduating in 2007 from Boys Choir College in Moscow, Pavel entered the State Academy of Choral Art. He is currently in his second year of training, studying voice with Dmitry Vdovin. He is also taking lessons with George Darden, Giandomenico Bisi and Gloria Borelli. In addition, the young tenor has participated successfully in a number of singing competitions. Engagements at the Festival de Colmar, the Oldenburg Promenade and the Rheingau Music Festival have brought Pavel to France and Germany. In Moscow, he appeared with Ute Lemper in The Seven Deadly Sins at the Spivakov Festival, and he has performed in Europe, Russia and Japan as a soloist with the Academy of Choral Arts. In the summer of 2009, Pavel appeared in concert with the Academie Européenne de Musique d'Aix-en-Provence.
