Biography

Fernando joined the children’s chorus of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires at the age of eleven. There he received instruction in vocal technique, repertoire and song. He is currently studying at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón, where he is the youngest member of the chorus. Fernando gained his first stage experience in 2006 through the young artists program of the non-profit organization Juventus Lyrica, singing the role of The Speaker in Mozart’s Magic Flute at the Teatro Avenida. Performances in 2007 included Sparafucile in Verdi’s Rigoletto and Le Fauteuil and L’Arbre in Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges. Fernando has been awarded scholarships from the Mozarteum Argentino Buenos Aires, the Teatro Colón and Juventus Lyrica.
