The Competition Schedule
The biennial competition is divided into three important phases:
• Application:
During the first quarter of each competition year (January 1 - March 31, 2011), singers are given the chance to apply online.

• Preliminary auditions:
Preliminary auditions are held worldwide (April to August 2011). Upon application singers already chose their preferred place for auditions.
• Final round:
After worldwide auditions the NEUE STIMMEN finals will take place in Germany (15.10-22.10.2011). Approximately forty singers can qualify to participate in the finals.
