Anita Watson

Australia, soprano. *1980

Following her graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Anita participated in the Australian Opera Studio in Perth. In 2005, she won not only the Australian Singing Competition but also the German Operatic Award. The latter prize gave her the opportunity to participate in the Opera Studio of the Cologne Opera. In September 2007, Anita started a two-year stint as a Young Artist at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, where she will make her debut as the flower girl in Parsifal and First Lady in The Magic Flute.
