Emma Vetter
Sweden, Soprano, *1975

In spring 2005, Emma Vetter completed her voice studies at the University College of Opera in Stockholm. Right from the beginning, she had studied with Hans Gertz to whom she feels very close. She started her voice studies as an alto before becoming a soprano. She has two children and performed the role of Adalgisa this fall in "Norma" on the stage of the Royal Opera in Stockholm. She can also be seen in the role of Santuzza in "Cavalleria Rusticana" there.

In the Final Concert of "Neue Stimmen" on 22 October 2005 Emma Vetter sang the arias "Einsam in trĂ¼ben Tagen" from Lohengrin by Richard Wagner (audio-file) and "Es gibt ein Reich, wo alles rein ist" from Ariadne auf Naxos by Richard Strauss.
