Tania Christova began her vocal training in 1973 at the Academy of Music in Burgas before switching to the Sofia Conservatory in 1977. She came second in the 1981 Maria Callas Competition in Athens and won first prize in the 1986 Concurso Internacional de Canto in Bilbao.
What is known about her today:
After coming second in NEUE STIMMEN 1987, Tania Christova was offered a permanent engagement at the Karlsruhe Opera as well as making guest appearances in Paris. Unfortunately, little else is known about how her career has progressed since then.
