What was said about her at "Neue Stimmen" 1993:
Nicola Beller studied singing under Dolores Ripollés at the Madrid Conservatory and in 1992 took part in the Munich Singing School with Astrid Varnay. Having won second prize in the 1991 International Singing Competition in Logrono, she also ranked among the finalists in the1992 Hannover Singing Competition. From 1991 to 1993, she was a member of the ensemble of Munich's Opera Studio and now has a contract with Munich's Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz until 1996.

What is said about her today:
After leaving Munich's Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, Nicola Beller, who is now called Nicola Beller-Carbone, switched to the National Theater in Mannheim. A versatile singer, she excels not only in opera and operetta, but in the lieder genre as well. Now a freelance singer, she has given several guest performances at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf/Duisburg, at the Aalto Theater in Essen, the Semper Opera in Dresden and at the Trier Music Festival. In the 2002/2003 season, she can be heard in Mannheim's productions of "Die Walküre" and "La finta giardiniera". Her repertoire also includes such roles as Mimi, Donna Anna, Tatjana and Liu.
